Lu Song ran as far as he could with Situ Xin in his arms travelling up to ten miles until he had used the rest of his energy. He stopped and leant back on a nearby tree, panting. Situ Xin folded her arms and smirked at Lu Song. "What a tired, old man you are."
Lu Song glared at Situ Xin, "You look so thin and weak, how could you be so heavy." He spat on the ground.
"Aren’t you afraid of me?" Lu Song stared at Situ Xin, making his most intimidating impression.
Situ Xin looked at him, raising one eyebrow. Her phoenix eyes stared at him and the corner of her mouth moved a little.
"Why should I be afraid of you?"
"I will kill you." Lu Song smiled gruesomely, and his scar twisted into a hideous mess.
"Huh." Situ Xin replied. How was she supposed to take him seriously when he was injured so badly and sweating so profusely.
"Oh, I don’t believe you’re so brave." He gritted his teeth and muttered some words under his breath. A bright red light shot out from his palm, aiming at Situ Xin.
With a wave of her sleeve, the Qi flew through her harmlessly. Situ Xin easily diffused Lu Song’s attack.
"I will give you some advice, old man. Don’t move yourself too much, it’s not good for your liver." She smiled good-naturedly.
Lu Song growled in anger. "Little girl." His anger began to grow but he suddenly doubled over and coughed a mouthful of blood.
"See, old man? I told you not to get angry’." Situ Xin taunted him.
Lu Song looked up and glared at her.
"Situ Xin. I will kill you today." Lu Song prepared a killing blow, ignoring his serious injury. However, because of his state, the blow would be weakened to the point that it barely did anything.
Situ Xin easily swept away his attack with one hand. To her, it felt like a light breeze.
"That was a little too easy."
"It’s a mess…" Lu Song stepped back, realising there was no way he could defeat her, or even injure her right now.
Lu Song collapsed to the ground once again, too weak to continue. His face was still red from Situ Xin’s taunts and his clothes were in tatters. Situ Xin continued to mock him and he couldn’t take his defeat and fled.
"Don’t go." It was really a pity, she thought. He was really a funny old man.
"I heard that the master of the Hundred Flowers Sect is a backstabbing, cold-hearted person, but when I saw her she seems cute." A voice could be heard from the trees above.
Situ Xin squinted her eyes, "Xuanyuan Xiaoqi, haven’t you seen enough drama for a day."
A black figure leapt elegantly down from the treetops, the leaves slowly drifting with the form.
Situ Xin couldn’t help but reach out her hand. "What breathtaking purple eyes…"
This man was too beautiful, she had thought that Xiao Yixuan was the most handsome man in the world but now she changed her mind.
Xuanyuan Xiaoqi froze and turned around and grabbed the petite hand that was reaching out and elegantly kissed it. "If you do, I’ll believe that you are in love with me."
"Let go." Situ Xin immediately retracted her hand, her face turning red. What a disgrace.
Xuanyuan Xiaoqi looked at her innocently. "You have touched me, and still refuse to take responsibility?" He blinked his long and narrow eyelashes curiously.
Situ Xin pouted a little and quickly took out a silver coin from a pocket and shoved it into his hand. "That’s all I have."
"Xin-er, are you alright?" Xiao Yixuan had chased them from the arena and he was followed by Bai Ying and Song Zimiao.
"Nothing. Let’s go." She shrugged her shoulders.
Xiao Yixuan took Situ Xin’s hand and when he saw that she did not shake it off, he smiled cheerfully.
Xuanyuan Xiaoqi, stood there, completely shocked. He stared at the silver coin in his hand. That Situ Xin had just treated him like a prostitute…
