A fight broke out between the 3 peak experts present.
The emperor easily fended off attacks from the combined might of two experts.
“You guys, this is just pitifully weak!”
The emperor did hand signs and a dark formation formed in the sky above them. Thunderous boom reverberated in the clouds.
“Let me show you the technique I learned from the Nine Dragons Monolith of Demons and Gods, the heavenly lightning formation of the gods and demons.”

This attack seemed like it would devour all three of them. The next instant, an invisible ripple dispelled the lightning bolt before it can land on them.
The emperor’s eyes flashed and he coldly stared at a certain direction. He growled.
“Since you’re here, show yourself, and let’s not waste time playing hide-and-seek, yeah?”
A figure landed on the roof of the palace some distance away. It’s an old man that is shabbily dressed.
“Wu Xiang, so you want to join the party too?”
The emperor nonchalantly addressed him.
“I spared you once before this, do not test my patience for my patience is limited!”
“I will be taking those two young’uns!”
Elder Wu Xiang pointed at Ye XingHe and Xia Yu Ning.
The emperor glanced at Ye XingHe.
“No, I want him. Moreover, you don’t have the right to negotiate with me. I give you two choices: Scram or die here, the choice is up to you!”
The emperor emitted more aura than before, this showed that he’s taking a more serious stance than before.
Ye XingHe landed beside Lin Hong and he asked him.
“Lin Hong, how are you doing?”
“I am okay!”
Lin Hong shook his head while grabbing his chest. He is looking at the emperor with a deeply frustrated look. He sacrificed so many things to increase his cultivation only to fall short when it came to a confrontation with the emperor.
Ye XingHe glanced in Elder Wu Xiang’s direction, he wondered if Wu Xiang would be able to handle the emperor.

The emperor raised an eyebrow at him. The heavenly lightning formation of the demons and gods started concentrating power, forming webs of lightning in the sky, the power contained within would send anyone packing. He narrowed his eyes at the old man.
“Wu Xiang, is this really wise of you?”
“Bring the three of them away from here!”
Elder Wu Xiang sent a sound transmission to Shang Guan Xuan.
Shang Guan Xuan finally realized that it was Wu Xiang who followed them. She felt like someone trailed behind them but she couldn’t locate the stalker no matter how hard she tried, his appearance here answered her haunting doubt.

The emperor snorted and he unleashed a palm strike.
His palm strike formed an energy wave that landed on Shang Guan Xuan’s back. Turning pale, blood spilled out of the corners of her mouth but she never stopped or flinched.
The emperor wanted to attack one more time but Elder Wu Xiang unleashed a bright red palm strike at the emperor. Not one to be careless, the emperor defended himself.

He dispersed the attack with his own attack.
Two figures, one red and the other white exchanged blows in the air, their speed was so frightening it’s hard to see clearly.
Shang Guan Xuan suffered damage and she’s carrying two people, it’s amazing that she can still run so fast. When Ye XingHe looked back, the red and white figures became more and more distant.
Ye XingHe prayed that Elder Wu Xiang would be alright. He’s deeply frustrated that he can’t even put up a fight in front of an apex practitioner like the emperor.
