Chapter 11 - Clumsy [OW]

Su Ling’s action of leaning against the door was very obvious. Gu Liheng was standing under the dryer at the end of the swimming pool, his gaze slightly changed as he quickly walked towards the door.

Gu Liheng stopped about two steps from Su Ling. He pulled out an isolator and attached it to the back of his neck, then he adjusted the ventilation system to the highest level.

Su Ling felt his mouth very dry and licked his lower lip. He looked at Gu Liheng and took a breath, asking, "President Gu, are you okay?"

Gu Liheng glanced over his slightly moist lips, his eyebrows frowning slightly, "It's you who are not okay."

Su Ling blinked and admitted honestly, "En, my legs felt powerless, my heartbeat is fast, and my neck is uncomfortable." Now Gu Liheng understood why Su Ling asked him ‘Are you okay’ before this. He walked into the room and placed Su Ling down to sit by the bed.

Su Ling sat down and looked up at him with an awkward expression, "Sorry, I gave you trouble."

Su Ling glanced at the taxi driver. He took the sachet out from his backpack and smelled it, then tapped his bracelet and triggered an alert to the police.

The driver parked the car by a small road, where 3 Alphas are standing beside the road, and a burgundy sports car parked not far away. The driver opened the door at Su Ling’s side and said, "Quickly get off the car."

Su Ling didn't get out of the car, but various Alpha scent still rushes to him through the door seam. Placing the sachet at the tip of his nose, Su Ling could sense the crisp fragrance eliminating all kinds of scent; refreshing and cool.

In the sports car, Zhao Qing lazily curled a lock of loose hair by his forehead and disdained, "My dear younger brother, don't you know how much an Alpha hated the smell of their same kind? You brought me here to give me a punishment?"

Zhao Qi wore a mask and pulled him out of the car, "I’m trying to make you sober."

Zhao Qing shrugged his shoulders and followed him to the taxi.

When Su Ling saw Zhao Qi, he frowned with impatience. Just like what it says in the novel, Zhao Qi like a dog skin plaster (狗皮膏药). In the novel, all of Zhao Qi’s focus was used to check out what the protagonist gong likes and to break down the feelings between two protagonists. He encountered failure again and again, then will come out with new ways again and again until he died. This kind of person is really annoying.

Zhao Qi waved his hand and dismissed the Alphas. After that, he took off his mask and said to Zhao Qing, "Take a whiff, his pheromone is particularly smelly, don't be fooled by his appearance..." Then he stopped talking because there wasn’t any unpleasant smell in the air. He glared towards the driver, "So useless, you still haven’t made him remove his isolator yet?"

The smile on Zhao Qing’s face instantly disappeared, "Didn't I said not to mess with him?!"

Zhao Qi was taken aback by his serious expression and stiffened his neck, "I just want to let you smell his pheromone so that you are not fooled by his appearance."

Su Ling got off the car and stared at them.

[1] - GLH said 冒犯了 which somehow means 'Excuse me for the impoliteness? :v It's like what the ancient chinese people will say.

[2] - Felt like this is a plot hole because SL wore his isolator while running. So the author probably set this rule specifically for Alpha only, since they 'have a lot of energy'

[3] - 空间背包, directly translated as space backpack :v Banana is not very experienced with future world terms and stuff. Like usually people say space ring, which they will have a physical ring as the key ma. But backpack? What is the key for GLH to open the space storage? Banana is clueless _(;3/ Could it be cultivaltion style, using spiritual power? :P
